Recently I spent a restless night wondering what I could do to help my local hospitality businesses during these very challenging times.

I had been chatting with a few of my local cafe owners when picking up a coffee, and it was clear that the current 'sell from the door' mode was barely adequate to keep them viable. 

What I came up with was a "Your coffees are on the house!" promotion. 

In return for my financial support, three Hobsonville Point Cafes offered anyone who purchased a food item between 11 am - 2 pm on a selected Saturday a hot drink 'on the house'. It has been a successful idea, with plenty of locals coming out to support their local cafe businesses. 

I have certainly felt happy doing my bit to assist local small businesses in navigating their way through this time.

This Saturday, 27th of November 2021, I am supporting 160 Hobsonville Point Cafe (under the Brickworks Apartment Building). If you are in the area, or feel like getting out for a drive, please stop in and say 'hi' to Roy and his team.
